Tesuque is a census-designated place situated in Santa Fe County, New Mexico. This city is also a part of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Metropolitan Statistical Area. As of 2019, the city has a population of 1,008. The area is situated close to Tesuque Pueblo, a member of the Eight Northern Pueblos. The people of Pueblo belong to the Tewa ethnic group of Native Americans who speak the Tewa language. The Pueblo includes over 17,000 acres, including Vigil Land Grant in the Santa Fe National Forest and the Aspen Ranch.
